See how to add Wordpress to your new website domain
Now it's time to write up some content in your niche website. Visit your website by typing it into the address bar and log into your Wordpress dashboard with the "log in" link in the right hand navigation bar:

There is 1 example post, 1 example page, 1 example category and 1 example comment automatically added to your Wordpress website when you install the software. We need to find the default post, page etc. and change them to be related to your niche subject.
Categories
Let's set up 2-3 categories for your posts before we start posting; these help the search engines quickly spot the theme of each post.
Click on the categories tab under the Posts section:

Think of 2-3 categories for your niche; if your niche was "dog hair brushes" for example then two great categories would be: "brushing techniques" and "brush maintenance". If your niche was "windshield cleaning solution" then two great categories would be "cleaning techniques" and "what to avoid", you get the idea.
Only use full words with spaces in your category names as any punctuation is not allowed. Ignore the other sections and press "Add Category" each time you want to ass a new Category on your site:

Pages
Go to the "Pages" tab in the left navigation bar:

Let's edit your "About" page; this is where a website viewer can read about you and see why you made the website. Click the "edit" button under the title (hover over the title to make it visible):

Delete the sample text which starts with "This is an example of a WordPress page..." and write you own 'about me' page. Pretend to be an expert in whatever niche you have chosen and explain to people why you are writing about this niche on this website (make something plausible up!). Remember to stick to the subject of your niche, talking about your pet cat will not help in any way (unless you niche is about cats of course!).
Here's an example 'About' page on the niche website about "Muscle Growth":

Now look at the words I used in the About Page and you'll see lots of keywords related to Muscle Growth including: muscle growth, gain, bench pressing, biceps, inches thick, ripped body and building muscle. These are great for building up your niche website's profile, if all the writing on your site is centered around your niche then Google will think that your website has expert knowledge and must be referenced highly!
To save the page click "Update Page" on the right hand side navigation:

Posts
Post are what make up the all important bulk content of your website; they are the main key in bringing the right people to your site from search engines.
The bigger the niche market is the more posts you'll need to write to conquer it online. Let's go back to the keyword analyzer tool from Google (you'll need a free Google account to see this): click here to see the keyword tool.
Type in your main niche keyword (or the words in your domain name) and click "Get Keyword Ideas" again:
Click "Global Monthly Search Volume" or "Local Search Volume" if you have a local website.
(My example niche here "LED camping light" only has near to 10,000 searches per month so competition should be medium-small for this keyword – see step 1 for more details.)
Take a look at "Keyword related to term(s) entered" and "Additional keywords to be considered". Sort the related keywords by their search volumes so you can see which terms get placed into Google the most. These related keywords give you a great clue on what to post about; note that not all the terms will be associated to your niche so take care to ignore them. Print off the page and then highlight all the words that are related to your niche keyword like in my example below:
Now if you mention these other keywords at least once in you niche website you'll increase the number of searches that bring people to the site from Google.
This list of related keywords is gold-dust; you can use it to create subjects to for your posts knowing for certain that lots of people are looking for that information (i.e. the high search volume).
| Each post must be totally based on one subject and one subject alone for them to work with maximum SEO power. |
| Looking at my related keywords I've created five subjects for posts already: | Afterwards think of some exciting titles for these post subjects including the same keywords: |
|
|
Great now we just need to get writing!
Click on the "Posts" tab in the left hand-side navigation:

Delete the "Hello World" post that is already present in our posts if you haven't done so already (this is a temporary default post):

Click "Add new" under the posts tab:

Add your title in and write your post about one of the subjects you came up with. Remember to use lots of related words & synonyms of your niche keyword in the post:

Note: I have highlighted myself all the words which relate to "LED", "camping" and "lights". The more different ways I can say "LED", "camping" and "lights" for this post the better as it's title is "Introducing LED Camping Lights".
If your post title was "Dog Brushing Techniques" then you need to keep saying words which relate to "dog", "brushing" and "techniques". You could use a thesurus to find more synonms of your main keywords. Also most words have different ways of saying them for example "bank", "banking", "bankers", "bank-vault", "banks", "banked" etc. all descibe the same theme of 'Banks', you need to tailor this for your own niche of course.
Now we have written the first post we need to select the right category for it located in the bottom right navigation bar:

The last step is to place in the post's tags. Any word mentioned more than 3 times should be in your tag list (don't go too crazy or add tags in for un-related words such as the word "and" and "the"!). Separate each tag with a comma and remember to click the "add" button to add them all to the post. These are improtant for SEO so don't forget to add them; if you do forget then you can always edit your old posts in the post section of Wordpress.
Now "Publish" your post; again don't worry if it has any errors in as you can always go back to the post and edit it again in the future!
Visit your main URL (your website's address) and you'll see your post listed on the main website page.
Now depending on how many searches your niche gets per month you'll have to write a certain number of total posts. If your niche keyword gets under 6,000 searches per month then you can just make 3 different posts with around 250 words per post. If there was between 6,000 and 20,000 searches then I'd suggest you write at least 5-8 posts depending on your competition for that keyword. To find out how many searches you have per month on your keyword then again use Google's keyword tool.
The next section will show you how to make your website look fantastic so people are more likely to read it for longer.
